THIS YEAR'S SOCIAL-DISTANCE FRIENDLY walk has begun! It will last through this Saturday (10/31). You can run, skip or walk the virtual 5k any place you would like!
Please join us in a healthy and fun way to support students! This past year, the SBHSAA awarded $2,500 in scholarships between two outstanding, deserving students. [CLICK HERE TO MEET OUR FIRST-EVER SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS.] Given the wackiness of 2020, now, more than ever, the SBHSAA needs your support!
The race fee was $25, which goes to support the scholarship fund mentioned above. YOU CAN STILL PARTICIPATE! Feel free to send in your $25 donation, then run (or walk, or sit!) the event anywhere! Even on your treadmill!

Purpose of the SBHSAA Scholarship: To provide a personal growth scholarship to one or more deserving graduating seniors interested in or pursuing post-high school course of study at either college/university or other post-secondary educational institution, programs offered in trades, professional fields and academic areas. The definition of personal growth is the ongoing process of understanding and developing oneself in order to achieve one’s fullest potential.
Because of the generous support of the Alumni Association community, this year we were able to increase our scholarships to a total of $6,000! Thank you for your support of Barlow students. Your participation in the SBHSAA will impact the lives of FIVE graduating students this year!

Please join the Sam Barlow High School Alumni Association (SBHSAA), and their sponsors, for the fifth annual walk and running of the Hit The Barlow Trail 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run, Sunday, October 8, 2023. This year's event will be in-person, with a virtual option..
The course will once again be run at Sam Barlow's campus, mostly on the cross country trail; there will be varying running surfaces. There will also be a track option for those who cannot do trail.
Bibs will be issued, and there will be a race clock, but in the spirit of community no times or places will be kept. All participants will receive a (really cool) finisher award.
Proceeds will benefit SBHSAA student scholarships. (CLICK HERE to see our 2023 scholarship recipients!)
